Mt. Pisgah supports the Crafton Food Bank

We make quarterly food donations on the first Sundays of March, June, September, and December.  While all items are appreciated, the Food Bank needs a regular supply of items not provided by the Pittsburgh Food Bank, such as crackers (in sleeves), Ramen noodles, gravy mix, small cake mixes, canned icing, cookie mix, and muffin mix.  Place donations in the lobby at the main entrance to the church on the next donation date, Sunday, December 7.  Thank you!

AfterSchool Program

For the 2025-26 school year, Hearts on Fire offers a FREE program at the church for Elementary age students on Wednesdays and Fridays from 4:10 pm to 6:00 pm, beginning on September 17.  See the flyer on the Home tab for the full program description.  Call the church office at 412-921-8444 for an enrollment form.

DayTimers

About our group:  Our DayTimers group usually meets on the last Tuesday of each month at 11:00 am in the sanctuary (the group does not meet during June, July, or August).  Meetings include presentations by speakers on various topics, followed by a light lunch and a time to share our faith and socialize.  Details of each month's meeting topic can be found in our monthly newsletter, The VIEW, which you can find in the News and Events tab.

You can help DayTimers support the Crafton Food Bank by gathering items the Pittsburgh Food Bank does not supply (crackers in sleeves and Ramen noodle soup packages).  Bring donations to the meeting.  Thank you!

SCRIP Fundraising

Mt. Pisgah participates in a fundraising program (formerly SCRIP, now known as RaiseRight).  How it works:  you purchase gift cards to popular retailers at the full face value of the card, for example $25, $50, or $100.  The church pays a reduced amount for the card (courtesy of the card issuer), with the difference between the full and discounted price available for use by the church without having to sell goods, plan events, or ask for money.  It's easy, practical, and reliable.  Orders for gift cards are placed on the last Sunday of each month and are generally available for you the following Sunday.  Call 412-921-8444 for more information.
